THIS WEEK'S TASTY RECIPE (SEPTEMBER 7, 2008) |

Buffalo Chicken Brochette
Ingredients 4 skinless chicken breasts 1/3 cup extra virgin oil 12 skewers Salt & pepper
Sauce 5 tbs butter 1 tbs minced garlic 1 tbs minced jalapeno 10 dashes hot pepper sauce 3 tbs brown sugar 1 tbs minced parsley
Slice each breast into 4 strips and thread the chicken on skewers. Brush the chicken with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Prepare a medium hot charcoal fire or gas grill. Grill chicken until done, but be careful not to over cook.
Heat in a small saucepan over medium heat; butter, minced garlic, jalapeno, hot pepper, sugar and parsley and bring to a simmer. Transfer the chicken to a bowl and pour over the sauce. Serve hot with: celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. |

ABOUT THE MIDNIGHT GOURMET
In recent years, Nick has been dedicated to teaching others the art of classical cooking. He has been a featured writer for several magazines and newspapers. In 1998, he launched "Denova" - a company that created a popular local cable television program called The Midnight Gourmet.
