Bengals Girls High School Flag Football
The Cincinnati Bengals are investing to bring football to more women, especially high school female student-athletes, through the fast-growing and fun sport of flag football. Through partnerships with USA Football and NIKE, we provide equipment and uniforms to local high schools in addition to opportunities for stipends and access to girls flag themed events leading up to and following the regular season. Together with NFL FLAG, NFHS and other league partners, we are focused on providing a pathway to sanctioning under the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) for Girls High School Flag Football.
Growth & Expansion
Spring 2024 was the pilot season for girls high school flag in Cincinnati. Six local high schools participated in the pilot season and a championship tournament was held on-site at the Kettering Practice Fields in May. In 2025, we have 20 local high schools competing in the spring regular season. We are excited to continue growing the game and opportunities for young women in flag for years to come!
