Defensive tackle Geno Atkins was named to the NFL Top 100 list for the sixth time, coming in at number 79 this year.
The 2010 fourth-round draft pick was featured on Wednesday night's episode of "The Top 100 Players of 2019," which unveiled players ranked Nos. 80-71.
In 2018, Atkins earned his seventh career Pro Bowl nod, moving him ahead of CB Lemar Parrish (six) for most selections by a defensive player in Bengals history. Atkins led the Bengals last season with 10 sacks, quarterback hits (19) and tackles for losses (13). The 10-year veteran has 71 career sacks, the most by a Bengals interior lineman and third overall.
For the ninth consecutive year, current NFL players have voted to determine the top 100 players in the NFL. The one-hour show airs weekly, counting down the top players in the NFL as determined solely by the players themselves. Additionally, viewers can interact with the show on social media using #NFLTop100.
