The Bengals celebrated Thanksgiving early when a group went to the Freestore/Foodbank Tuesday morning at Over-the-Rhine in downtown Cincinnati.

With Nick Williams and Brandon Bennett checking off names in a computer, JoJuan Armour and T.J. Houshmandzadeh handed out meals to several hundred families at the facility at 112 Liberty St.

Each family received a ham or

turkey, along with box of food and a bag of vegetables. The team had to get a jump early on Thanksgiving because it practices Thursday. Head coach Dick LeBeau has moved up the regular daily schedule so the players can leave at noon, after an hour and 45-minute practice and two hours of meetings.

Bengals right tackle Willie Anderson plans to donate dinners for needy families at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Carthage, as well as at his church in his hometown of Mobile, Ala.
