The Bengals today placed a waiver claim on CB Tony Brown, who was waived by the Packers on Saturday. His rights will be awarded to the Bengals after the Super Bowl.
Brown, who will be a third-year player in 2020, originally was a college free agent signee of the L.A. Chargers in 2018, though he has spent his first two seasons with Green Bay. He has played in 20 career regular-season games (three starts) and recorded 39 tackles (32 solos), five passes defensed and two forced fumbles on defense, plus another six tackles and a blocked PAT on special teams.
