The Bengals today signed DE Khalid Kareem, the team's fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Kareem (6-4, 268) spent the last four seasons (2016-19) at the University of Notre Dame. He played in 43 career games (26 starts), and compiled 109 career tackles, including 13 sacks, along with four FFs, two FRs and eight pass breakups. He was a full-time starter his final two seasons for the Fighting Irish, and helped the team to a 23-3 record over that span.

Of the Bengals' seven draft picks, just two remain unsigned — QB Joe Burrow (first round, Louisiana State) and WR Tee Higgins (second round, Clemson).
