Bengals single game ticket sales begin

Cincinnati Bengals single game ticket sales began today, and phone lines to the ticket office were humming.

"We know some people have had to re-dial due to busy signals, due to the volume of calls," said Kevin Lane, the club's director of ticket sales. "We apologize for any delays, but we want fans to know there are other ways to reach us."

The number for the Bengals Ticket Hotline is (513) 621-TDTD. The Hotline is open from 9 AM until 5 PM, and during those hours, fans may also visit the Bengals Ticket Office, located on Paul Brown Stadium's East Plaza Level. Parking is free.

Tickets may also be purchased on-line from the Bengals Official Website,

, 24 hours a day, or fans may print a ticket order form from the website's ticket page and return it by fax or mail.

Ticketmaster has Bengals tickets available through their various outlets, through their website,

, or by phone at (513) 562-4949.

Tickets are available for all games on the 2003 schedule. They range in price from $35 to $54 per ticket.

"This is a busy day, as we expected," Bengals ticket manager Tim Kelly said Monday. "We're doing everything we can to help out every caller we get, but if fans can't get through they should try us again on Tuesday... we're going to be here all week to help them out."

Lane is expecting the two September games (Sept. 7 against Denver and Sept. 21 against Pittsburgh) to be popular with fans, as he sees their enthusiasm growing toward Coach Lewis' first game at Paul Brown Stadium. "We're excited about the Denver game because we think fans will want to be a part of Coach Lewis' first game ever as a NFL head coach," Lane said. "I'm certain he'll have the team ready to make a statement and give the fans something to cheer about. And Pittsburgh is always a great draw. We know our fans get fired up for that one."

Bengals Season Tickets, on sale since February, and Two Game Ticket Packages, on sale since May, will still be available. Fans are encouraged to call the Bengals Ticket Hotline at (513) 621-TDTD, or visit

for further information on Season Tickets and Two Game Packages.
