The club released the following statement over the weekend in San Diego in the wake of the death of Mary Brown:
"The Bengals today learned with sadness of the passing of Mary Brown, second wife of the late Paul Brown, the Bengals founder and first coach. The club extends its sincere condolences to Mary's family and to all others who have been touched by her passing."
