Andy Dalton shared his first Throwback Thursday on Instagram today and it harkened back to his Pro Day at TCU.
Dalton was taken by the Bengals with the 35th overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Statistically, Dalton's 2015 was the best of his five-year career. Finishing the year with a 106.3 passer rating, the Red Rifle threw 25 touchdown passes and only 7 INTs. That passer rating was a Bengals record and good enough for tops in the AFC and second best in the NFL. Dalton also earned AFC Offensive Player of the Month in October, the second time winning such an honor. By reaching 3,000 yards passing in his first five seasons, Dalton reached a milestone that only Peyton Manning has achieved.
Since becoming the Bengals starting QB in 2011, Andy Dalton has led the team to the postseason every year and is still the only QB in Bengals history to catch a TD pass.
