Then there were two.
Pro Bowl running back Corey Dillon and second-rounder Mark Roman remain out of Bengals training camp tonight with no deals in sight. With today's signing of third-rounder Ron Dugans, they are the only holdouts from a camp that now has 80 players.
Bengals vice president Paul Brown spoke with Dillon agent Marvin Demoff Tuesday, but the sides were quiet. Brown had no comment and Demoff couldn't be reached for comment.
Roman, a cornerback out of LSU, has reportedly left the Cincinnati area and returned to his Louisiana home while seeking a voidable year in a five-year contract. The two players drafted ahead of Roman and the three after him all have the voidable year. But the Bengals don't want to break policy about giving voidable years after the first round.
