As expected, running back Giovani Bernard (hip, shoulder) didn't appear for practice Friday morning on the Paul Brown Stadium turf as the Bengals went through the last full-score workout before Sunday's game (1 p.m.-Cincinnati's Channel 12) against the Jaguars.
But unexpectedly defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (knee) didn't work after going through Wednesday and Thursday practices at full go as he tries to get back on the field for the first time since the Sept. 14 victory over Atlanta.
Wide receiver A.J. Green (toe) began his third straight practice after going Wednesday and Thursday limited. Defensive tackle Geno Atkins returned Friday after sitting out Thursday's practice to rest his knee. Right guard Kevin Zeitler (calf)didn't work, hasn't all week and likely is out for Sunday.
