Bengals first-round pick Leon Hall has been named to the Pro Football Weekly/Professional Football Writers of America All-Rookie team,
joining the cornerback taken ahead of him in the draft in the Jets' Darrelle Revis.
Hall, taken with the 18th pick out of Michigan, had a slow start but finished with a team-leading five interceptions that tied him with Ray Horton and Odell Thurman for the franchise rookie record.
Hall, who immediately lived up to his tag as the best tackling corner in the draft, started the last seven games and racked up the fourth-most tackles on the club with 85.
Bengals safety Chinedum Ndukwe didn't make it. Ndukwe, a seventh-rounder out of Notre Dame, had three interceptions, two sacks and a fumble return for a touchdown. But the safeties were LaRon Landry of the Redskins and Reggie Nelson of the Jaguars. **
