Here's what has to happen for the 9-5 Bengals to make the playoffs in the last two games in jockeying with 10-4 New England, 8-6 Baltimore and 8-6 Miami.
WILD CARD: Bengals beat Minnesota at home, lose to Baltimore at home to finish 10-6. Ravens beat New England at home and Bengals on road to finish 10-6 and win AFC North with sweep of Cincinnati. Miami either loses out or splits at home to Jets or in Buffalo. If the Bengals need the wild card and are tied with Miami, they are out because of the Halloween loss to Miami. So they can clinch at least a wild card berth as soon as Sunday with a win over the Vikes and a Miami loss in Buffalo.
AFC NORTH TITLE: Bengals beat Minnesota at home and Baltimore loses at home to New England this Sunday. Or Bengals win out to finish 11-5. But if Ravens beat the Pats, no matter what happens vs. the Vikes the Bengals must beat Baltimore at home to win the title.
NO. 2 SEED: Bengals have to go 2-0 to finish 11-5 and the Pats have to lose in Baltimore or at home to Buffalo to finish 11-5 and the Bengals get it because of their win against the Pats on Oct. 6.
