Fifth-round pick Otis Hudson, penciled in as the backup for right guard Bobbie Williams, signed his contract Wednesday to join sixth-rounder Dez Briscoe in the Bengals rookie fold. The 6-5, 320-pound Hudson, who finished his career at Eastern Illinois after transferring from Minnesota, leaves seven rookies unsigned with the first practice of training camp 22 days away.
"Otis needs work to polish his technique, but he's a big, explosive man with NFL physical ability," said offensive line coach Paul Alexander in a news release. "He's a player we can work with and develop."
