The Bengals today signed DT Kahlil McKenzie from the practice squad to the active roster.
McKenzie (6-3, 320), a second-year player out of the University of Tennessee, originally was originally was a sixth-round draft pick (198th overall) of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018. He later spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, before joining Cincinnati's practice squad on Aug. 25 of this season. He has twice been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for game day this season — Game 3 at Philadelphia, and Game 5 at Baltimore. He played in both contests, and had one tackle.
McKenzie fills the roster spot of DE Sam Hubbard, who was placed on Reserve/Injured (elbow) on Thursday.
