Marcus Lewis joins Bengals coaching staff

In what is believed to be a Bengals' first, a head coach is going to have his son working for him in the 2014 season. Marcus Lewis joined Marvin Lewis' staff Monday as a defensive assistant/quality control coach.

After playing at Indian Hill High School in suburban Cincinnati, Marcus Lewis played 33 games at Indiana State during four seasons at linebacker. He then worked last season as an assistant to the University of Cincinnati coaching staff, where his duties were similar to his assignment with the Bengals. At UC he assisted with the defensive line and scout teams, and also worked in self-scouting, film breakdown and practice organization.
