The NFL released its playoff scenarios Sunday and there are three ways the Bengals can secure their first Wild Card playoff berth since 1975:
They have to beat or tie the Ravens in next Sunday's 4:15 p.m. game at Paul Brown Stadium.
Or, the Jets would have to lose or tie in Miami and the Raiders would have to lose or tie their home game with San Diego.
Or, the Jets would have to lose and the Broncos would have to lose their home game with Kansas City.
All four games are rematches. The Ravens beat the Bengals, 31-24, in Baltimore on Nov. 20. The Broncos beat the Chiefs, 17-10, on Nov. 13 before Kansas City's quarterback problems. The Raiders beat San Diego in quarterback Carson Palmer's second start, 24-17, on Nov. 10. The Jets beat Miami, 24-6, on Oct. 17.
