The mystery of the day is the Bengals' best player showing up late for Thursday morning's practice. The good news is that A.J. Green got carted to practice and when he showed up for individual drills he got out of the passenger's seat dressed and ready to go complete with helmet. And when he appeared on Thursday afternoon's injury report it was as limited but unrelated to injury.
Running back Giovani Bernard (knee) didn't practice and is headed to his third straight de-activation. Starting safety Shawn Williams (concussion) tried to practice as he participated in the early part of the workout and was marked as limited. Starting tight end C.J. Uzomah (shoulder) and backup linebacker Vincent Rey were limited. Thursday's DNP list gives you a good idea who'll be inactive Sunday (8:20 p.m.-Cincinnati's Channel 5) in Kansas City: Bernard, starting linebacker Nick Vigil (knee), starting slot corner Darqueze Dennard (shoulder), starting center Billy Price (foot) and back-up tight end Tyler Kroft (foot).
