Defensive tackle Domata Peko was so excited about his donation of shoulder pads to the high schools in Pago Pago that he talked about them on only one condition.
"Don't say anything about it until Tuesday," said Peko a few days ago. "I think it's something they're really going to like and something they really need."
Linebacker Rey Maualuga also came through with several hundred pairs of cleats Tuesday with the help of his contract with Under Armour when they began speaking to the six high schools in Pago Pago.
