As the 2024 NFL season draws to a close, the spotlight shifts to the upcoming college all-star games, where the Bengals' scouting department showcases its hard work and commitment to excellence in identifying the next wave of talent.
There are numerous events for potential draftees, including all-star games, College Pro Days and the NFL Scouting Combine in March before culminating in the 2025 NFL Draft in April. Events start this coming week with the East-West Shrine Bowl and the Reese's Senior Bowl.
East-West Shrine Bowl
The East-West Shrine Bowl celebrates its 100th game in 2025 in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium. It is a college football all-star game that features some of the top draft-eligible players in the country.

Some of the NFL's best have taken part in the East-West Shrine Bowl, including Tom Brady, Walter Payton, Lawrence Taylor and John Elway.
Bengals' coach Fredi Knighten will coach the quarterbacks for the East team. The game has a heavy emphasis on community involvement, specifically Shriners Children's Hospital. More than 1.5 million children have been helped in the game's history.
Reese's Senior Bowl
The Reese's Senior Bowl takes place in Mobile, Alabama and is a another college football all-star game featuring elite draft prospects divided into the National Team and the American Team.

The Senior Bowl produced 110 draft picks last season, 43% of the NFL Draft. Since Zac Taylor became head coach in 2019, the Bengals have selected quite a few Senior Bowl participants, including RB Chase Brown, CB Cam Taylor-Britt, WR Andrei Iosivas and LB Logan Wilson.
