After nearly a month of availability, the old standby Pittsburgh and Cleveland two-game deal is the leading seller among the six Ticket Packs for the 2012 Bengals home season.
According to Andrew Brown, director of ticket sales, the four-game Orange Pack of Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Miami and Dallas is running second while the "Manning Pack" of Denver and the Giants is third.
Ticket Packs are available starting at $53 per game, the lowest price for Bengals tickets since 2005. Ticket Packs have a per-game price below the cost of comparable single-game tickets. They also offer preferred seating options over single-game tickets, including the same seats for all games within a pack. And Pack buyers gain priority behind full-season ticket holders for 2012 season playoff seats. They can be purchased at Paul Brown Stadium, online, or by calling 513-621-8383.
Brown says the club has yet to announce a date for the start of single-game ticket sales.
The brother act of Peyton and Eli Manning has a two-week stand at PBS in early November. Peyton makes his Cincinnati debut as a Bronco on Nov. 4 and Eli brings in his Super Bowl champion Giants on Nov. 11. Both games are 1 p.m. starts.
Then two weeks later former Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer arrives for another 1 p.m. game when the Raiders come in Nov. 25.
Brown says the Oct. 7 game against the Dolphins at 1 p.m. has drawn interest ever since former Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco signed in Miami. The Ocho and Palmer hooked up for 63 touchdowns in Cincinnati and Brown thinks sales for both games are going to heat up as the regular season draws closer.
The Bengals are also finalizing plans to set up smoking sections outside the stadium at Gate A, C, D and E for the upcoming season.
