Tee Higgins Expected To Play Vs. Chargers; Defense Boosted With B.J. Hill, Logan Wilson | QUICK HITS

Tee Higgins is expected to play Sunday night (8:20-Cincinnati's Channel 5) in Los Angeles when the Bengals challenge the NFL's No. 1 scoring defense.

"I expect him to be like Tee," said Bengals head coach Zac Taylor after Friday's practice even though he listed as limited throughout the week. "I felt that last week that we'd be here this week. This week verified that. Today verified that."

But as the team rushed to make the post-practice charter, Taylor couldn't be as definitive about left tackle Orlando Brown Jr.

"It's only Friday," Taylor said of a week Brown primarily worked in walkthroughs with his knee and leg issues and was listed as questionable after not practicing Friday.

If Higgins is indeed the Tee they expect, the hottest receiver in the league just became scalding.

In the three games before he injured his quad, Higgins caught 20 balls, three for touchdowns. He's missed the last three games with a quad injury while running mate Ja’Marr Chase has raced to the top of the NFL receiving charts in catches, yards and touchdowns.

Higgins suffered the injury in the Friday practice before the Oct. 27 Eagles game and Taylor said the ten days between this game and the one in Baltimore put Higgins over the top.
