Ja'Marr on Record Hunt

Ja’Marr Chase heads into his 60th career regular-season game leading the NFL this season in receptions (102), receiving yards (1413) and receiving TDs (15). He set a new career high in catches last week at Tennessee, surpassing his previous best of 100 from last season. Chase now is just 10 grabs away from matching T.J. Houshmandzadeh's single-season team record of 112, which he logged during his 2007 Pro Bowl campaign.

With his next receiving touchdown, Chase will tie former Dallas receiver and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bob Hayes for the third-most within a player's first four seasons in NFL history (45). He also has 5,130 career receiving yards, just 15 shy of Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb (5,145) for the fourth-most ever in a player's first four years.

Should Chase net 87 receiving yards on Sunday and get to 1,500 on the year, he would join Hall of Famers Jerry Rice (1995) and Randy Moss (2003) as the only players in league history with at least 100 receptions, 1,500 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns in a single season.

Joe's Company

Joe Burrow leads the league with 3,977 passing yards and a Bengals single-season record 36 touchdown passes. With his 271-yard, three-touchdown stat line in Week 15 at Tennessee, he joined Tom Brady (2007) as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to pass for at least 250 yards and three TDs in six consecutive games.

Burrow has thrown for 300+ yards six times in 2024, and with another such performance on Sunday he would surpass his own team record (2021) for the most 300-yard games in a season. His six 300-yard passing games this year are the most by any quarterback.

Burrow also has passed for three or more touchdowns in each of his last six contests, and on Sunday can become the fifth player all-time to do it in seven straight games. The previous quarterbacks to accomplish that feat are Brady (10 straight games in 2007), Peyton Manning (eight in 2004), Andrew Luck (eight in 2018) and Dan Marino (seven from 1986-87).

Chase Brown Continues Ascension

Second-year halfback Chase Brown has received notable praise from Burrow and head coach Zac Taylor as his offensive role continues to grow. He leads Cincinnati this season with 1,150 yards from scrimmage, contributing 832 rushing and 318 receiving.

Brown has logged 100+ scrimmage yards in each of the last four games, becoming the sixth running back in team history to hit that number in at least four straight contests. The last Bengals back to do it was BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who tallied 100+ in five consecutive games from Weeks 11-15 of the 2012 season.

Brown's four straight games with 100+ scrimmage yards is the longest active streak in the NFL. Since Week 9, he ranks second among all running backs in yards from scrimmage (730), tied for fifth in total touchdowns (six) and ninth in rushing yards (473). Brown also is one of four players in that span with at least 400 rushing yards and 200 receiving yards, alongside Detroit's Jahmyr Gibbs, New Orleans' Alvin Kamara and Arizona's James Conner.

Rolling Stone

Geno Stone had an interception in each of the last two games, and both proved to be crucial in helping the Bengals to back-to-back wins. His pick in Week 14 at Dallas ended a Cowboys drive the reached the Bengals' 12-yard line while the game was tied 7-7. He then followed up with his first career pick-six at Tennessee, a 39-yard return to the house that broke the game open in the third quarter.

In the Week 7 win at Cleveland, Stone grabbed his first interception as a Bengal on a pass thrown by Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is slated to start make his first start of the year for the Browns on Sunday.

Another interception this week would mark the second time in Stone's career that he had a pick in three straight games. He went a career-best four games in a row with an interception last season while playing for Baltimore, and his seven total picks on the year led the AFC and ranked second leaguewide. Since the start of last season, Stone is one of four players with 10+ interceptions, alongside Detroit safety Kerby Joseph (11), Green Bay safety Xavier McKinney (10) and Houston cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. (10).
