Biography
A premier pass rusher, Hendrickson has earned a Pro Bowl selection in each of his three seasons with the Bengals after signing with Cincinnati as an unrestricted free agent in 2021 ... He posted a career-high 17.5 sacks in 2023, which tied for second in the NFL and rank second in Bengals single-season history (DE Coy Bacon, 22.0 in 1976) ... His 53.0 sacks since the start of the 2020 campaign are third most in the league ... He has led Cincinnati in sacks in each of the past three years, with 14.0 in 2021 followed by eight in '22 ... Carried his strong 2021 regular season into the plaayoffs, when he had 3.5 sacks in four postseason games to help lead the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI ... Also has 12 career FFs, with three in each of the past three seasons ... Originally a third-round pick of New Orleans in 2017, and spent his first four NFL seasons with the Saints ... After filling rotational role in first three seasons, he earned a larger role in 2020 and tied for NFC lead with 13.5 sacks.
