2024 Fans of the Year: Bengals Captain and Who Bae
Jess and Jeremy Conley are both lifelong Bengals fans and 14-year Bengals STREAK Season Ticket Members who fell in love over a ""Who Dey"" on their first date. Their fandom grew while dating, buying their first season tickets together and joining the Bengal Bomb Squad tailgate in Lot 1. In 2017, a Microsoft commercial featuring the tailgate helped Jeremy decide his resemblance to Captain Obvious could be his outfit for the games. Bengals Captain was born. Later, he started calling Jess ""Who Bae"" as a play on their favorite chant.
Jess and Jeremy have been active in Cincinnati giving since 2012, but most recently have been big supporters of Freestore Foodbank, the Pelotonia community supporting cancer research, and various Bengals player charities, most notably the Cincy Hat Project started by Bengals center Ted Karras and his friend Matt Renie. The project supports The Village of Merici and other efforts benefiting adults with developmental disabilities.
Jess created and runs Tigress Talk, the first and only Bengals YouTube show completely hosted by women. She helps spread awareness and raise money for H.E.R. Cincinnati and Women Helping Women, two charities focused on supporting women and families in the community.
Each say they married their best friend, and the biggest Bengals fan they know.
