Re-signed

The Bengals Chase to a four-year contract extension through the 2029 season on March 18.

Chase, a fifth-year player out of Louisiana State University, was selected by the Bengals with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He has played in 62 career regular-season games with 61 starts for Cincinnati, and caught 395 passes for 5425 yards and 46 TDs. His receiving yardage and receiving TDs each are the third-most in a player's first four seasons in NFL history, while his receptions are fourth-most. He also leads the NFL in TD catches since entering the league in 2021, while ranking third in receiving yards and sixth in receptions in that span.

Chase has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first four seasons, and he is one of six players in NFL history to begin his career with four consecutive 1000-yard receiving campaigns. He holds a career average of 87.5 receiving yards per game, the second-highest rate in league history.

The Bengals re-signed Higgins to a four-year deal on March 18. Higgins, who will be a sixth-year player in 2025, originally was a second-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2020. In 70 career regular-season games (62 starts) for Cincinnati, he has caught 330 passes for 4595 yards and 34 TDs. He has recorded at least 900 receiving yards in four of his five pro seasons, including consecutive 1000-yard campaigns in 2021 and '22. He is coming off a 2024 season in which he ranked second on the team in catches (73) and receiving yards (911), and tied for sixth in the NFL with a career-high 10 receiving TDs.

Ossai signing

The Bengals re-signed Ossai to a one-year deal on March 15. Ossai was a third-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2021. He has played in 47 regular-season games with three starts for Cincinnati, and recorded 73 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, three passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The Bengals re-signed Sample to a one-year deal on March 14. Sample was a fourth-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2021. He has played in 47 regular-season games with three starts for Cincinnati, recording 68 tackles, six tackles for loss, five sacks and one pass defensed. He spent the entire 2024 season on the Reserve/Injured list with an Achilles injury.

B.J. Hill signing

The Bengals re-signed Hill to a three-year deal on March 12. The eighth-year player was acquired by the Bengals in a trade with the Giants ahead of the 2021 season. He has played in 64 regular-season games with 50 starts for Cincinnati, and totaled 225 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, 13 passes defensed, two interceptions, one forced fumble and four fumble recoveries.

Marco Wilson Signing

The Bengals signed Wilson to a one-year contract extension on March 12.

Wilson was acquired by Cincinnati on waivers from New England this past November. He played in each of the Bengals' final six games of the 2024 regular season and recorded two tackles along with one pass defensed.

The Bengals signed Gesicki to a three-year contract extension on March 10.

Gesicki signed with the Bengals as an unrestricted free agent last offseason. He played in all 17 games with three starts for Cincinnati in 2024, and caught 65 passes for 665 yards and two TDs. His 65 catches were the second-most in any season of his career and the second-most by a TE in a season in Bengals history.

The Bengals signed Ford to a two-year extension on March 10.

Ford joined the Bengals as an unrestricted free agent in the 2023 offseason. He has played in 33 games for Cincinnati and made 10 starts — five at left tackle, two at left guard, two as a third tight end and one at right tackle.

The Bengals signed Hudson to a one-year contract extension on March 7. Hudson joined the Bengals late in the 2022 season on the practice squad after stints with the Buccaneers, 49ers and Giants. He has played in 23 games over the past two seasons with Cincinnati, recording 58 receptions for 506 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bengals signed Rehkow to a two-year contract extension on Feb. 18. He played in all 17 games as a rookie and punted 53 times for 2603 yards. His gross punting average (49.1) and net average (42.9) each set a Bengals single-season record and led all rookies in 2024. In his career debut on Sept. 8 vs. New England, Rehkow set an NFL single-game record with 64.5 yards per punt (minimum four attempts), and set a team record for longest punt (80 yards).

The Bengals signed Adomitis to a one-year extension on Feb. 21. Adomitis, who will be a fourth-year player in 2025, was a college free agent signee of the Bengals out of the University of Pittsburgh in 2022. He has played in 52 games (regular season and postseason), and has delivered zero unplayable snaps on 432 attempts in those contests.

The Bengals signed Kirkland to a one-year extension on March 5. Kirkland, who will be a third-year player in 2025, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in '23. He spent the first five games of the 2024 season on the active roster and saw action in two contests, then spent the remainder of the season on the Reserve/Injured list with a biceps injury.

The Bengals signed Grandy to a one-year extension on Jan. 21. Grandy, who will be a second-year player in 2025, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in 2024. He played in eight games with six starts in his rookie season and caught five passes for 28 yards.

The Bengals signed Patrick to a one-year contract on Friday, March 21.

Patrick, a ninth-year player out of Duke University, was originally a college free agent signee of Green Bay in 2016. He has played in 107 career regular-season games with 64 starts for the Packers (2017-21), Chicago Bears ('22-23) and New Orleans Saints ('24).

The Bengals signed Burks to a two-year contract on Monday, March 17. Burks, an eighth-year player out of Vanderbilt University, originally was a third-round draft pick of Green Bay in 2018. He spent four seasons with the Packers (2018-21), two with San Francisco ('22-23) and one with Philadelphia ('24). He has played in 108 regular-season games with 17 starts, and totaled 161 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, three passes defensed, one interception, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

T.J. Slaton signing

The Bengals signed Slaton Jr. to a two-year deal on March 13. A fifth-round pick out of the University of Florida in 2021, Slaton Jr. spent the past four seasons with the Packers, racking up 133 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks and four passes defensed.

The Bengals signed Perine to a two-year deal on March 13. Perine played 54 games with the Bengals between 2019 and 2022, recording 213 carries for 914 yards and six TDs, along with 76 catches for 549 yards and five TDs. He also played in seven postseason contests and totaled 142 yards from scrimmage (60 rushing, 82 receiving), with both a rushing TD and a receiving TD.

Hubbard announced his retirement from pro football on March 5.

A Cincinnati native who graduated from Archbishop Moeller High School, Hubbard was selected by the Bengals in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played in 104 regular-season games with a streak of 88 consecutive starts from 2019-24. His career totals included 398 tackles (236 solos), 55 TFLs, 38.5 sacks, 16 PDs, one INT, six FFs and five FRs. His 38.5 sacks are the fourth-most among all players in the 2018 rookie class.

Hubbard was voted a team captain in each of his final four seasons with the Bengals (2021-24). In that time, he helped Cincinnati win back-to-back AFC North Division titles, make consecutive appearances in the AFC Championship Game and earn a berth in Super Bowl LVI. He played in seven postseason contests (all starts), recording 29 tackles, four sacks, one PD, one FF and two FRs.

G Alex Cappa - Released

The Bengals released Cappa on March 3. Cappa, who will be an eighth-year player in 2025, joined the Bengals as an unrestricted free agent in the '22 offseason. He started all 50 regular-season games he played in for Cincinnati at RG.

Cappa signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on March 5.

DT Sheldon Rankins - Released

The Bengals released Rankins on Feb. 21. Rankins, a 10th-year player in 2025, played in seven games (all starts) for the Bengals last season. He had signed with the team as an unrestricted free agent in March last year.
