With the 2024 NFL season officially over, all eyes now turn to 2025. The offseason is already in full swing after the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. The 2025 NFL League year begins on March 12. Here is a brief guide covering all you'll need to know about the Bengals 2025 offseason.
2025 Free Agency and Salary Cap
The Bengals have already made a few moves before the league year opens on March 12, including extending P Ryan Rehkow and designating WR Tee Higgins as the franchise player. For the full list of free agents and live updates, click here.
The NFL informed teams that the 2025 NFL salary cap is $279.5 million as of March 5, a large increase from $255.4 million last year.
2025 NFL Draft
The Bengals will select 17th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. They have six total picks in the draft, one in each of rounds 1-6. Cincinnati traded its seventh-round pick to the Chicago Bears for RB Khalil Herbert during the 2024 season.
All draft picks will be finalized later in the spring when the league awards compensatory picks.
Cincinnati will look to add to a young core of players they selected in 2024, including OT Amarius Mims and DTs Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson. The 2025 NFL Draft takes place Thursday, April 24 - Saturday, April 26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
