"The AFC is an arms race, and the Bengals are lucky enough to snare a do-everything tight end who adds another layer of danger to their offense."

DL Walter Nolen, Ole Miss

"Walter Nolen would be an ideal addition, as he recorded an elite PFF run-defense grade with plus athleticism to develop a pass-rush profile during his rookie contract.

"Nolen is a freaky mover with long arms and supreme power at the point of attack. He's precisely what the Bengals need on their defensive interior."

"Cincinnati needs to get a lot tougher up front along the defensive line — insert the behemoth Grant here (6-foot-3, 342 pounds)."

"The Bengals must get better on defense through the draft."

"With so many weapons already in place, the Bengals won't be shy to pick a running back here, especially one who actually represents a value selection at No. 17 overall.."

EDGE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M

"[Scourton] appeared to put on weight after transferring from Purdue to Texas A&M and, given that his sack total fell from 10 to five, it was no surprise to see him lighter for the NFL Combine... Scourton would be an undersized, high-motor type in the vein of George Karlaftis."

EDGE Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M

"The Bengals fortify their defensive line and add to their pass rush with the ultra-athletic Stewart."
