The NFL announced today the Pro Bowl players who will participate in the Pro Bowl Skills Show Thursday. All three Bengals' Pro Bowlers, QB Joe Burrow, WR Ja'Marr Chase and DE Trey Hendrickson, will compete in three of the five events.
Burrow will compete in Passing The Test.
Passing The Test: Quarterbacks try to hit targets at various distances around the field worth different point values in 40 seconds. Before the challenge, each quarterback will select a Pro Bowl Games teammate to answer five trivia questions about current Pro Bowl players. For every correct answer, the quarterback gets an additional 10 seconds. The winner of the competition is the team with the quarterback who scores the most points.
Burrow's trivia partner will be Texans' WR Nico Collins. The quarterback will also be featured in the NFL Flag Football Game Sunday.
Chase will compete in a new event for 2025, Satisfying Catches, presented by SNICKERS.
Satisfying Catches, presented by SNICKERS: One wide receiver, tight end and defensive back from each conference will compete in a challenge obstacle course, including catches from a jugs machine at three different distances, to test every aspect of catching a football. Each teammate will complete the course back-to-back with the lowest combined time winning the challenge.
Chase's teammates for the even are Raiders' TE Brock Bowers and Texans' CB Derek Stingley Jr.. Chase will also play in the flag football game with Burrow.
Hendrickson will compete in Dodgeball, presented by Bud Light.
Dodgeball, presented by Bud Light: A two-round tournament of classic dodgeball featuring four teams of seven players. Teams will be a mix of AFC offensive, defensive and special teams players competing against a mix of NFC offensive, defensive and special teams players.
The NFL sack leader will be on the second AFC team, along with Steelers' LB Patrick Queen, Colts' OG Quenton Nelson, Colts' LB Zaire Franklin, Jaguars' WR Brian Thomas Jr., Bills' RB James Cook and Jaguars' LS Ross Matiscik. Hendrickson will also compete in Tug-of-War on Sunday.
The winning conference from each skill competition earns three points towards their team's overall score, and points from Sunday's Flag game will be added to points earned Thursday to crown the champion of the 2025 Pro Bowl Games.
The Pro Bowl Skills Show will be broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN+ Thursday, Jan. 30, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in Orlando, Florida. ESPN's Laura Rutledge, Ryan Clark and Dan Orlovsky and special guest Terry Crews will host the made-for-TV event.
