The Bengals acquired DT Eddy Wilson on waivers from the Seattle Seahawks. To make room for Wilson, the Bengals placed rookie G Rod Taylor on the Reserve/Injured list.
Wilson (6-4, 295) is a rookie out of Purdue University who had signed with the Seahawks as a college free agent on May 4. The Seahawks waived him yesterday. In three seasons with the Boilermakers, he played in 31 games (nine starts) and recorded 73 tackles, including 3.5 sacks.
Taylor, from the University of Mississippi, was the second of three Bengals seventh-round draft picks this year.
