The Bengals today signed free agent CB Winston Rose to a Reserve/Future contract.

Rose (6-0, 180) played the last three seasons (2017-19) in the Canadian Football League, including this past season, when he helped the Winnipeg Blue Bombers win the Grey Cup title. He played in all 18 of the Blue Bombers' games in 2019 and earned CFL All-Star honors after recording a league-best nine INTs, including one he returned for a TD. He spent the 2018 season with the B.C. Lions, and tied for the CFL lead with five INTs.

Rose played collegiately at New Mexico State University, and was a college free agent signee of the L.A. Rams in 2016. He was waived by the Rams in May, and then spent the '16 preseason with the Indianapolis Colts. He was waived by the Colts on final cuts in 2016, and then began his CFL career in '17 with the Ottawa Redblacks.

Winston's contract with the Bengals is a two-year deal. He will not count on the team's active list until Feb. 3, the first business day after the Super Bowl.
