Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and WR Ja'Marr Chase were awarded FedEx Air and Ground Players of Week 10, the NFL announced today. The weekly honor is voted on by fans, selecting the top two offensive performances of the previous week out of the six nominees.
Burrow completed 34-of-56 passes for 428 yards, four touchdowns and a 108.3 passer rating in the Week 10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Burrow received more votes than Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray for the honor.
FedEx added wide receivers and tight ends as potential nominees for the 2024-25 season. Chase hauled in 11 receptions for 264 yards and three touchdowns, defeating Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard and Falcons running back Bijan Robinson for the award.
It is Burrow's third time receiving the honor this season, previously winning in Weeks 5 and 9. Chase adds a second win to his season after joining Burrow as the other Week 5 honoree.
The FedEx Air & Ground Awards have been in existence for over 20 years. FedEx works with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to make donations of $2,000 in the names of the two winning players ($4,000 total) to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country every week. The company has donated more than $300,000 to HBCU's over the past three seasons, per NFL.com, and the awards program has donated nearly 3 million dollars to various non-profits through its existence.
