Ken Anderson
Bengals all-time leading passer Ken Anderson arrived in the third round of the 1971 draft but he's hosting a first-round event on the first night of next month's NFL Draft at "Strikes for Autism at Star Lanes."
As he did back in September, Anderson is joining with Necco in a fundraiser to benefit adults with autism in the hopes of building a living community in Cincinnati that serves as a national model.
It takes place at Star Lanes at Newport on the Levee on Thursday, April 25 from 7 -10 p.m. The event coincides with the first night of the draft and Anderson plans to host current and former Bengals. Tickets are $100 to bowl, or $50 for socializing only. For tickets and more information about the Necco Autism Project sponsored by Ken Anderson please visit necco.org.
Festivities also include appearances by local celebrities, live music, a silent auction and draft commentary from former players starting at 7 p.m. Each ticket purchase includes food and three drink tickets.
The Necco Ken Anderson Project seeks a solution to the problems autistic adults and their guardians face by building a specialized space they can consider their home. Â
