Brightwell spent the final seven games of the 2024 season on Cincinnati's practice squad, after joining the Bengals in mid-November ... He originally was a sixth-round draft pick of the N.Y. Giants in 2021 and spent his first three seasons with New York ... Spent the 2024 offseason with Jacksonville, and played in two games for Cleveland early in '24 campaign ... In 39 career regular-season games played, he has 41 rushing attempts for 164 yards and one TD, along with 11 receptions for 92 yards ... Also has returned 28 kickoffs for 591 yards (21.1 average), with 26 KORs coming in the 2022 season while with the Giants.
