Biography
The Bengals signed Gesicki in March looking to add an athletic tight end to their group of talented pass catchers ... A downfield threat, Gesicki stands 6-6 and challenges LBs and DBs in coverage ... Has played in 98 regular-season games (41 starts) and caught 260 passes for 2861 yards and 20 TDs ... Entered NFL as second-round draft pick of Miami in 2018, and spent first five seasons ('18-22) with Dolphins before joining New England as UFA in '23 ... Has missed just one game in career (Week 15 of 2020) ... Recorded over 700 receiving yards in back-to-back seasons in 2020 and '21; his 1483 combined receiving yards in those two seasons ranked fifth among NFL TEs ... Was two-time All-Big Ten selection at Penn State, where he finished his career with the most receptions (129), receiving yards (1481) and receiving TDs (15) by a TE in program history.
