1. "The team changed the camp schedule and held practice on the colorful new turf at Paycor Stadium for the first time. 'It makes too much sense to get a practice out there before we go play on Saturday,' said Coach Taylor."

2. "With some nagging injuries on the D-line, the team signed 320-pound defensive tackle Carlos Davis for added depth. The 27-year-old spent parts of three seasons with the Steelers (2020-22) and played for Birmingham of the UFL this spring."

3. "Amarius Mims and Myles Murphy continue to have great "iron sharpens iron" battles in the 1-on-1 pass rush drills. Mims was watched closely on this rep by the greatest offensive tackle in NFL history — Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz."

4. "Vonn Bell will help the run defense with his instincts and sure tackling. His work ethic resulted in Bell receiving the coveted closest spot to the entrance in the player's parking lot. 'It's a sign of love and appreciation,' Vonn said. 'I don't take that for granted.'"

5. "DJ Turner got his first INT of camp on a Joe Burrow deep ball intended for Trenton Irwin. 'I've dropped too many, so it was good to get that one," Turner said. Teammates had been calling him "Mr. PBU" because DJ had break-ups but no picks. 'Yeah, we're going to retire that.'"
