1. Joe Burrow was cooking. Deep balls, off-platform throws, narrow window dimes. It was impressive. "Today was the best I've thrown the ball I felt like," Joe said. "It's getting better every day. I'm figuring things out as we go."
2. Myles Murphy is having a good camp, but it's hard to get by Amarius Mims in 1-on-1 pass rush drills. "Every time I walk into the huddle, I'm like, 'God, this dude is big as hell,'" said Tee Higgins. "The guy is a stud up front. Great addition to our offense."
3. Andrei Iosivas is catching every pass away from his body after working with noted WR guru Drew Lieberman in the offseason. "We would literally run full speed straight at him, and if you didn't have your arms fully extended, we'd have to do it again," said Iosivas.
4. How will special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons evaluate the three punters? You'll notice after this Ryan Rehkow kick, Darrin reads the hang time, distance, direction, and other noteworthy details into a video camera so that every kick in camp can be logged and evaluated.
5. With the Olympics in progress, Burrow says he wants to play flag football in 2028. "I'd love to go and win a gold medal for the country," Joe said. "I'm not sure how it would work with the Olympics going on during camp, but I think the league would want us to grow the game."
