Bengals set to open PBS for free pep rally Thursday night

Paul Brown Stadium is gearing up for Thursday night's free-and-open-to-the-public Bengals Pep Rally that features some of Cincinnati's most explosive operations. During the event where gates open at 7 p.m., the NFL's  sixth-ranked defense and an offense featuring two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green and first-round pick Tyler Eifert headline the introductions of the players by the Bengals radio team of Dan Hoard and Dave Lapham. The night closes with a fireworks display by Queen City Pyro.

The roster of alumni set to attend ranges from all-time leading passer Ken Anderson to the club's most versatile linebacker ever in Brian Simmons. The alumni is on hand to sign autographs while the Rusty Griswolds perform at 7:45 to set up the 8:45 p.m. rally. Head coach Marvin Lewis also plans to address the crowd. The Bengals 2012 highlights video from NFL Films starts playing on the scoreboards at 7 p.m.
