1. Kudos to Tee Higgins for signing the franchise tag and reporting for the start of camp. "Me personally, I didn't want drama," Tee said. "I want to be here with my guys. I love this team and I grew a love for this city."

2. All eyes were on Joe Burrow coming off of wrist surgery, and he threw with zip to all levels of the field. "I think I'm in a good spot," Burrow said. "It's going to continue to get better — especially getting all the reps that I'm going to get during training camp."

3. In team drills, Andrei Iosivas took all of his reps in the slot. There's opportunity there following the departure of Tyler Boyd. "I never played (slot) at all last year – even in the spring," Iosivas said. "I didn't feel uncomfortable. I've been watching a lot of tape of TB."

4. Willie Anderson, the best right tackle in team history, kept a close eye on rookie RT Amarius Mims who is wearing his #71. "He's a tall, big, guy with basketball player feet and strong-ass hands," Willie told me. "If he puts his hands on you, you either stop or go backwards."

5. Rookie Daijahn Anthony (#33) had the first INT of camp on a tipped Jake Browning pass. Was he looking forward to seeing it when the team watches video? "I really don't want to see the good plays," he said. "I want to see the bad plays so I know what I need to get better at."
